In order to dock a Seatruck, the base attached to the Seatruck Dock must be powered. Some kind of long-range hot/cold detector would go a long way. The Seatruck Dock is a long constructible seabase module which is constructed with the Habitat Builder that acts as a docking solution solely to house the Seatruck and any attached modules. It's a good way to incentivize exploration, but with fragments as rare as they are, there needs to be some way of locating them more easily or it ends up being more frustrating than fun. The ocean's just too big to stumble across what you need. I like the fragment collecting mechanic in principle, but it needs some work. With a couple O2 tanks and a rebreather, you'll have enough time to explore. It's shallow enough that you can get most of the way with the Seamoth, then use the Seaglide from there. This is a very useful area to dock and charge your Seamoth, change name and colours and add new modules to it.PLEAS. That would be the one at -284 -250 -850 in the grand reef, SSW from the lifepod. Here's how to use Moonpool in Subnautica. I didn't, so I used the wikia to find the shallowest wreck that contains moonpool fragments. Chicken and the egg scenario, unless you want to get the cyclops first. Moonpool is one of the most difficult blueprints to acquire, since all of the fragments that I know of are too deep to reach with the base Seamoth - which you can't upgrade without the moonpool. Probably could've done it in the PRAWN but without the grapple or jump boost it would've been very risky to find the wreck in the grand reef's steep cliffy terrain. Seamoth couldn't go deep enough to reach the wreck with the moonpool fragments.Ĭyclops is too big and unwieldy, its lights are weak, and the cameras are pretty awkward to use (and it would really be better if their spotlight stayed on when leaving the seat - I'd managed to find a few things on the seafloor but it was hard to find them again after jumping out) There is a Seamoth pressure compensator on the Aurora. So I was at the point where I needed to go further and deeper but in order me to get the tech needed to go further and deeper I needed to go further and deeper to get it. I had the Seamoth and Cyclops and PRAWN but no moonpool. (although I would've hit a hitch prior to this if I didn't know the MP was on the island) I started a new game this update and progress was smooth until I got to needing the moonpool. In this Guide I will show you where to find Moonpool fragments, Vehicle Modification Station blueprint, Reinforced Dive Suit blueprint, Power cell Charger Fr. the final battery charger fragment? Practically forever even though I found my first one within like 20 minutes or something duuuuuuur).Am I the only one that thinks that hiding essential rooms (just the multipurpose and moonpool really) is bad design? Scoping out the ground from what seems like a reasonable distance could very well mean it's simply not rendering.īut then, I've spent my own share of time scraping my seaglide across the seafloor for over an hour trying to find that one last piece (Every single type of fragment found in the crash zone? sure!. As well as draw distances being terrible. In general, also keep in mind some of the fragments still look like stupid placeholde featureless blocks. Like my stumbling aceoss four mobile vehichle bay fragments (you only need 3) within 15 feet of eachother out in the open, while others were going crazy trying to find so much as one or two fragments. I was using my seaglide in the dark so when you spend a lot of extra time around the Auora including "oops I'm behind it now, might as well finish the lap" I expect things rolled over from stingy to overkill. Ill give you tips on where to find them The Mushroom Forest biome is littered with Cyclops Hull. Be careful though as I've often seen a warper in the same place. Place you can find Moonpool Fragments in Subnautica. The times when I have only found one fragment there, I've usually found a second on the sand above the Dunes wreck - sort of on the edge of the shelf that juts out from the Mushroom Forest.
